What if a student has the ability, but never finds out that a scholarship is within reach?
Why We Alif began
We had the same questions
Could we apply for a scholarship? What would we need to prepare? Where could we find an answer we could trust?
We Alif began with students and a team who had faced that uncertainty themselves. When tuition runs into the tens of lakhs, a family can rule out an undergraduate degree before they have even seen the funding options.
We built We Alif to make the preparation clearer, while students still have time to work on it. A mentor helps turn those early questions into subjects to explore, projects to pursue and applications to prepare.
The information gap
Before an application, there is a family conversation
School results on the table, hopes for the future and a budget that has to be taken seriously. It is easy to assume the answer is no when the fees are the first thing you see.
But students also need to know which scholarships exist, what the requirements are and what they can start doing now. Our programme gives those questions time and attention over 3 to 4 years.

The best applications are built over years. We would rather meet a student in Grade 9 than in the month before a deadline.
Your work stays yours
We guide and review. We never write essays or applications for students.

Universities and scholarship bodies decide. We don't promise results, and our refund conditions are published.
Making preparation accessible
Good guidance should reach beyond a family's income
We want students from lower-income families and underserved communities to have access to scholarship preparation. Clear information is a start. Sustained support is the next step.
Working with NGOs
NGOs and foundations
We have collaborated with many NGOs and community organisations, including Falah Foundation, to bring free career counselling, scholarship guidance and educational workshops to the students they support.
Your organisation can partner with us too. Sponsor mentorship places for deserving students, invite us to run sessions for your community, and receive progress reports shared with consent.
