How our mentorship is different
We Alif works for the student and family. We accept no university recruitment commissions. Your preparation and funding needs guide our work.
UNIVERSITY-PAID RECRUITMENT
University-paid agents and consultants
Some education agents and consultants represent universities and receive a commission when a referred student enrols.
Who pays
The university pays a recruitment commission. Additional student charges may apply.
What to ask
Which universities do you represent, and which ones pay you?
When comparing advice
Ask whether the options cover your interests and funding needs beyond the institutions represented.
STUDENT-PAID MENTORSHIP
The We Alif programme
Your family pays for an agreed programme of preparation and guidance, with fully funded scholarships as the goal.
Who pays
Programme fees come from the family. We receive no recruitment commission from universities.
What guides your shortlist
Your academic profile, interests, funding needs and the published scholarship requirements.
What we work on
Career direction, subjects, meaningful projects and careful applications over 3 to 4 years.
A question that started We Alif
Questions we once asked
Can I apply?
Where do I begin?
Who can help?
Could full funding make this possible?
Why We Alif began
We had the same questions
Could we apply for a scholarship? What would we need to prepare? Where could we find an answer we could trust?
We Alif began with students and a team who had faced that uncertainty themselves. When tuition costs run into the tens of lakhs, a family can rule out an undergraduate degree before they have even seen the funding options.
We built We Alif to make the preparation clearer, while students still have time to work on it. A mentor helps turn those early questions into subjects to explore, projects to pursue and applications to prepare.
Co-pilot mentorship is a guided partnership over 3 to 4 years. We agree a roadmap, provide guidance and help you work through decisions as you progress through school.
For example, if you are interested in engineering, the discussion starts with your subjects and interests. It then moves to relevant activities, course choices, funding requirements and applications.

01 / OUR PROGRAMME
Scholarship co-pilot
Prepare over 3 to 4 years for fully funded undergraduate scholarships. Build your academic direction, activities and applications with a mentor.
It means support through the years before your undergraduate applications. We help you plan your career direction, profile development and applications, and guide you when you have questions. You complete the schoolwork, activities and applications yourself. Your starting class and intended intake determine the exact duration.
How often do I meet my mentor?
The contact arrangements and review schedule are agreed before enrolment. Ask the team what support is included, how to raise questions and how progress will be reviewed. This page does not promise a fixed number of weekly sessions.
Who should join the scholarship programme?
The programme is designed around Pakistani students preparing for undergraduate study, including Matric, O Levels, FSc and A Levels. Your starting stage, academic profile and remaining time determine the support that is suitable.
What are the new scholarship programme fees?
The discounted initial fee is PKR 100,000, reduced from PKR 150,000. The discounted success fee is PKR 250,000, reduced from PKR 300,000. If both apply, total programme fees are PKR 350,000. The success milestone is documented in your service agreement.
Does a scholarship cover every expense?
Coverage differs by award. Some fund tuition only; others include accommodation, travel or living support. We help you read the actual award and plan for costs it does not cover.
