High school and university student teams are challenged to design, build, test, and compete with a human-powered rover capable of traversing challenging terrain. Teams are also tasked with creating a specialty tool for completing simulated Artemis mission tasks

The in-person challenge will take place April 19-20, 2024, in Huntsville, Alabama.
Perks:
The NASA Human Exploration Rover Challenge will encourage research and development of new technologies for future mission planning and crewed space missions to other worlds.

Nevada, compete during NASA's 2023 Human Exploration Rover Challenge April 21-22, near NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center, in Huntsville, Alabama.
