Course: CARIBOU CONTESTS
Description:
Caribou Contests is a global online math challenge sponsored by the famous Canadian mathematics professor Thomas Wolf and officially supported by the Canadian Mathematical Society.
Location:
Caribou is an international online math competition run by a small team in Canada and representatives in other countries
Perks:
Caribou Contests are different from traditional math contests in many respects. First, they are online. Second, the questions are interactive and more engaging than standard calculations done on paper. Third, because math is like a sport in which you need constant practice and motivation to get better, there are multiple contests in a year, with the ability to practice past contest questions and interactive games in exactly the same conditions as the real challenges.
Eligibility Criteria:
Any school-aged child can participate in Caribou Contests, no matter their nationality or schooling situation. The competition is online so you can participate from anywhere in the world!
Duration/Schedule:
Two have already been held on 29 Mar 2023 and on 2-3 Aug 2023. The next will be held on 29-30 Nov 2023 and 15-16 May 2024.
