Eligibility Criteria :

"To be eligible applicants must:
have completed a trade qualification through an accredited provider
have minimum 3-5 years recent industry experience post completion of apprenticeship
be eligible for enrolment in full-time undergraduate studies in Initial Teacher Education (secondary) program, for the 2024 intake at Central Queensland University or University of Southern Queensland (our partner Universities);
be willing to undertake an internship at any state (secondary) school in Queensland;
demonstrate commitment to teach in a Queensland state school with an Industrial Design and Technology (ITD) specialization. This will include teaching of the following subjects:
Materials and Technologies Specializations (subjects for years 7-10)
Applied Technologies subjects to years 11-12 (QCAA senior syllabus)
Building & Construction Skills
Engineering Skills
Furnishing Skills
Industrial Technology Skills
Industrial Graphics Skills
agree to complete the undergraduate Initial Teacher Education degree in a maximum of four years
be an Australian citizen or have permanent residency status in Australia."
