The AIME is a 15 question, 3 hour examination in which each answer is an integer number from 0 to 999. The questions on the AIME are much more difficult and students are very unlikely to obtain the correct answer by guessing.

Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for AIME, students must first excel in the AMC 10/12 series of examinations. All students who took the AMC 12 and achieved a score of 100 or more out of a possible 150 or were in the top 5% are invited to take the AIME.
Duration/Schedule:
"AIME I (main AIME competition date): Thursday, Feb. 1, 2024 between 1:30 pm ET and 5:30 pm ET.
AIME II (alternate AIME competition date): Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2024 between 1:30 pm ET and 5:30 pm ET."

A minimum of $25 shipping charge for the first 10 students and $50 for over 10 students.
